Shoebox Appeal 2016

Each year at the start of the Christmas season, members of Keynsham Elim travel to Oradea in Romania, visiting poor families in the area. Working alongside our partners at CASA Grace, we deliver shoeboxes, full of exciting gifts, to the children that live there. For most, this is the only present they will receive this Christmas.

Our 2016 Christmas shoebox appeal has begun - we invite you to join us in creating a shoebox, filling it with presents and decorating it as a gift to some of the poorest children in Romania.

You can find out about how to make a shoebox by downloading our flyer. Want to help spread the word? Share this flyer with your place of work, school or club. The more shoeboxes we receive, the more children we can reach this Christmas

On Sunday 20th November 2016 from 5pm, Keynsham Elim will be hosting a thanksgiving tea and celebration for you and everyone who has so generously made a Christmas shoebox for poor children in Romania. You’ll find out more about what your shoebox really means, whilst enjoying a free afternoon tea as a huge thank you for supporting our appeal. All information can be found in the flyer above.
