Keynsham Elim Church's annual Big Quiz in aid of the Romania Summer Camp was a huge success, drawing 20 teams competing for the highly sought trophy prize. The event brought fierce rivalry between teams, some of which have been returning for multiple years running.

Each summer volunteers and staff sent by the church, help organise and run a Christian summer camp for children in Oradea. All money raised from the event goes towards supporting the costs of the camp. The summer camp is part of a wider mission effort the church is involved in, in Romania. Volunteers and staff are also involved in water projects, a Christmas shoebox appeal, and food aid for disadvantaged families. All such programmes are run in partnership with an on-the-ground charity based in Oradea called CASA Grace.

This year's quiz was a great competitive atmosphere, with a battle to first place. Last year's winners, The BWB's were toppled from the top-spot down to the still admirable, 5th place. They were replaced by the ironically named, Natural Born Losers, each of whom took home a medal, and the coveted trophy. The Bowlers, sitting at the bottom of the board by just a single point didn't go home empty handed - they took home the amazing wooden spoon prizes!

Through the generosity of the donations, we were able to raise a total of £821 for the camp. On behalf of the Romania Summer Camp Team, we would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has donated to the cause. Every donation makes a huge difference.
