Each year here at Keynsham Elim we come together for an evening of fun and food at our annual Big Charity Quiz Night. It's more than just seeing the fierce rivalry between last years champions and the gleaming eyes of the young adults, the event is put on to raise funds for our Romania Mission - helping some of the poorest in Romania. The money we raise from these fundraising events goes to making a practical difference in people's lives. From installing clean, reliable water in people's homes, to bringing food parcels to struggling families, to our Christian summer camps for the children in Oradea, Romania.

At this year's annual Big Charity Quiz Night we saw last years winners topple from the winner position, losing the cup to the ironically named "The Natural Born Losers". Topping the scoreboard with a handsome lead of 6 points to secure their place. They took home the trophy to proudly place on the top of their mantle piece. For the coming year at least.

But it wasn't just the winners who walked away with a prize, we saw the aptly named "Amnesia" team take home the much cherished wooden spoons. A trophy we see will be stirring up trouble in next year's competition we're promised.

On behalf of the Keynsham Elim Romania Team, we want to say a huge thank you for everyone in our local community and beyond that took part and donated to the cause. Thanks to all your generous support and donations we raised an amazing £555 towards our Romania mission! An evening of fun that will make a real difference to the lives of families in Oradea, Romania.
