Ryan Morton to be inducted as senior pastor

26th April 2018

Keynsham Elim Church's leadership have appointed Ryan Morton as the church's new senior pastor, who will replace Nigel Somers effective as of last Sunday 22nd April. Ryan has been employed by the church for several years where he has been serving as the Evangelism minister.

His previous role has taken him across the country through Champion Lift, prison ministry outreach, as well as overseas. Ryan has also been graciously serving in the church leading services and other key ministries for many years.

Nigel Somers in recent years has been living with health conditions which has made his daily ministerial work more challenging, so Nigel has chosen to step down from senior leadership, and rather take on a less intense role. Nigel's new role will involved much of the ministry he does already, including Sunday sermons, but will now be focused on serving under Ryan's leadership, and supporting Ryan as he transitions into the new role.

There will be a special induction service to welcome Ryan into the senior pastor role on Sunday 13th May, 10:30am-12am, followed by a buffet, cake, tea and coffee after the service for all - please join us. Elim's superintendent Simon Foster will be leading the induction.

We hope you'll join us in thanking Nigel for his years of gracious service as our senior pastor, and congratulate and support Ryan in his new role.
